O Critics Choice Awards aconteceu no último domingo (15), em Los Angeles, no Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel. A premiação reconhece os melhores da indústria cinematográfica norte-americana e é considerada um aquece para o Oscar.
Entre os ganhadores, se destacou o filme Tudo em Todo Lugar ao Mesmo Tempo, que levou para a casa os prêmios de Melhor Filme, Melhor Direção e Ator Coadjuvante. Além disso, Brendan Fraser teve um dos grandes momentos da noite ao comover o público com discurso emocionante quando recebeu a estatueta de Melhor Ator pelo papel em The Whale. Já Angela Basset, que venceu na categoria de Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante, falou sobre representatividade em tela.
